Water Polo Australia announce new digital platform and new registration policy
Water Polo Australia (WPA) is pleased to announce that following an extensive review of the current digital and membership platforms in conjunction with the State and Territory Water Polo Associations, WPA will be moving to a new digital platform in addition to a new national registration policy that will come into effect from 1 July 2018.
The new digital and membership platforms will be provided by revolutioniseSPORT who will implement a membership portal called the WPA MemberPool and competition management portal called the WPA CompPool.
Both the platforms will provide access to digital services that members and Water Polo Australia have previously not had access to.
Water Polo Australia CEO Christian Renford believes this is a positive step for the sport.
"The functionality that the new platform will provide Water Polo Australia will allow greater services to be offered for members and the wider Water Polo Community across the country, by having reliable data available through the new platform it will provide greater scope to grow the sport in the future."
Ensuring that we have a consistent membership model around the country means that we can jointly work together as a whole of sport to implement effective programs to meet the needs of our members now and in the future."
The new national registration policy will be made public from June 2018 and come into effect from 1 July 2018.
The move will see a State administrative model move to an individual benefit model. This means that each individual member of the organisation will be able to see the capitation fees they pay to all levels of the sport and what benefits they receive in return for this payment.
